For Aries Season, I kept the fire going and put together a playlist called NüWave Vol. 2.

This one’s rooted in some worldbuilding I’ve been doing for my novel (more on that later) and just the overall Aries energy I’m vibing with right now.

I met Janet in 2019 during a time in my life when I was at my lowest. I didn’t get to enjoy the experience because I truly feel that the folks who “allowed” me to meet her were trying to shut me up about some shady stuff going on with them employing me. I hate that the whole situation was rained by foolishness, but I’m still so happy i got to st least tell my idol “Thank You” for EVERYTHING. Even if I couldn’t go into detail.

Seeing her documentary and meeting her that night reminded me that I can make it through anything. I didn’t say much when I met her and I wish I could get a redo to tell her just how much she meant to me growing up.
